Quick Reference Guide

TenSette plus BBP087

Important Note: This Guide is only valid in conjunction with the complete manual DOC022.98.00744.

System Start Up

1. Connect the plug of the charger to the socket on the back of the pipette (Figure 1, item 10). Connect the

charger to an AC wall socket.

Note: You can use the pipette while the charger is connected.

2. Press the trigger (Figure 1, item 12) to turn on the pipette.

3. After 30 minutes without usage the pipette switches to the sleep mode. Press

MENU → OPTIONS → POWER →

POWER OFF to switch off the pipette.

Operation

Setting of the pipetting volume

1. Choose the

PIPETTE function (MENU → PIPETTE).

2. Select the volume by pressing the scroll key (Figure 1, item 4) up or down. Accept the volume with

OK.

Setting of the pipetting speed (optional)

1. Select

SPEED (default 6, 1 slow – 9 fast). The speed-in starts to blink.

2. Select the speed-in with the scroll key (Figure 1, item 4) and accept with

OK. Then select the speed-out with

the scroll key and accept with

OK.

Pipetting

1. Dip the tip (Cat. No. BBP068) under the surface of the liquid. Press the trigger (Figure 1, item 12). The liquid is

drawn in to the tip.

2. To deliver the liquid press the trigger.

3. Change the tip and continue pipetting.

Note: For the convenient usage of HACH LANGE cuvette tests, the nine most frequently used volumes are pre-programmed

(MENU

→

PROGRAM

→

PROG 1-9).
